Russell Taylor-Vice President, Taylor International
Russ started in the moving business at the bottom. At the age of 16 while in high school he worked in the warehouse, under the direction of the warehouseman. He went to Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario to study business, majoring in marketing. While in college he drove varying sizes of vans. Upon graduation Russ worked with another mover in the greater Toronto area to gain continued experience outside of the wing of his father’s company. In 1989 he joined Taylor Moving & Storage Ltd. In 2002 Russ and his brother Richard purchased the company from their father Allen Taylor, and today are active owner managers.
Richard Taylor-Vice President, Taylor International
Rick started at Taylor Moving and Storage as a summer employee at the age of 17 as he was enrolled at McGill University in Montréal, Quebec. Upon graduation, he joined Taylor Moving and Storage in the role of moving consultant. In 2002, Rick and his brother Russ purchased Taylor Moving and Storage, where they continue to run the business to this day. Rick is active in the industry where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Canadian Association of Movers and as a Director at Large on the Canadian Allied Agents Association.
Arthur Drewry-Manager, International Moving Services
Arthur was raised as a British expatriate and started working in the household goods relocation industry in the Middle East. While working with the Gulf Agency Company, Arthur was an integral part of handling relocations for Exxon Mobil, Occidental Petroleum, Elf Petroleum and Chevron Phillips.
Arthur returned to Great Britain to manage the International Removals Division at Britannia Movers International PLC. Britannia Moves International PLC is the third largest moving organization in Great Britain. During this time, Arthur received his FIDI Diploma, the highest international education designation in the international relocation industry.
